Cumbre’s identity reflects the essence of its culinary philosophy: high-quality products that nourish the body, crafted without shortcuts or pretension, and served in a warm and welcoming environment. The visual language is inspired by the freshness and closeness of a local brand, incorporating subtle elements that enrich the experience of Cumbre Pan y Cocina. Founded in 2019 in Cali, Colombia, Cumbre was born with the mission of offering the highest-quality sourdough breads to its community. While its origins were rooted in artisanal bakery, over time the brand expanded its menu to include a greater variety of dishes and beverages, evolving into a more complete gastronomic proposal. This evolution created the need for a stronger and more versatile brand system. Building on the existing logo, our role was to enrich the visual language so it could support Cumbre in this new stage and into the future—implementing a broader color palette, complementary typefaces for the logo, and a consistent set of communication assets. A key outcome of the process was the creation of a character inspired by the otters of the Cali River, an emblem of the brand’s local and approachable identity.
